AUTUMN
BLAZE® red maple, acer
x fremanii rubrum x saccharinum "Jeffersred"
Developed by Poplar Farms, Inc of Batavia, IL, was chosen
maple TREE OF THE YEAR in 1997 by
Iowa's Nursery and Landscape Professionals. Height to 50 feet, width
to 40 feet, dense oval-rounded head with ascending branch structure
and central leader, hardy to zone 4. Excellent fall color is
orange-red to red. This is a very fast growing tree,
especially in southern climes.
